Nassau 42 Fine Arts
Sculpture / Graphic Art / Painting
Nassau 42 Fine Arts is not a gallery for the artistic elite. In fact, one of the gallery's main missions is to bring art to people with little prior knowledge of art and make art more accessible. Their motto: “The art world can seem quite intimidating, even elitist to many people. We want to change this perspective.”
The second part of their goal is to provide a platform for up-and-coming artists from all over the world.
“A lot of artists make incredible work, but struggle to be able to show it.
We want to give them that platform, that is why we do not work with a set of artists over and over again but be able to show each time new emerging artists, national and internationally.”
Now that ties in nicely with our own philosophy and the reason to start Artourney for all of you!
Nassau 42 is located in the beautiful city of Antwerp, Belgium which has an impressive current and historical reputation in the art world. If you’re ever in town, make sure you visit the gallery! They’re open every afternoon, Thursday through Sunday.

Varied, would be the first thing that comes to our mind when looking at the Nassau 42 collection on display. With all types of different art forms and artists from different parts of Europe there's a great chance the collection holds something you'll be excited about.
Two examples of represented artists are Mat Kemp and the artistic duo Cosmic Cowboy.
Mat Kemp, a Royal College of Art graduate, shines in his mixed media artworks inviting people on a trip down memory lane and making the viewer think about what their memories mean to them today.
Cosmic Cowboy is a duo of mother and daughter with their own style of popart that seems to have some Asian influences. The Belgian-Dutch duo lives and works in London, England and gathers the interest of art lovers and collectors world wide.
